motorcycle 2001.1
This motorcycle was made by John Anelay of Blackburn. He was a competition rider from 1919. Later he sold motorcycles in Blackburn and built machines for the Isle of Man TT Races. Anelay entered four machines for the Ultra Lightweight Class of the 1951 TT. These were all fitted with 'Anelay Special' engines. In 1958 the Spanish company Bultaco began to manufacture the engine. This is the last surviving Anelay motorcycle.
